We would like to thank William Clarke College for their continued assistance of St James’, Hohorita. This has been a relationship that has been fostered over many years. The students of the Junior School held their fundraising event in Term 4 last year and donated the proceeds for pig fences to protect their food gardens.
The children of William Clarke College are all too aware of the struggles of children in Papua New Guinea. In the recent past, their fundraising efforts have allowed the students at St James’ Hohorita to enjoy water tanks, books in the library and a kitchen to serve a midday meal together with cooking and eating utensils.
The generosity from the school has provided many more opportunities for the children in PNG to enjoy a learning environment that is better resourced than most schools in the country.
